So, the Chinese are to blame, secretly rejoicing in our misery after having magically introduced the coronavirus to all humanity. Your cartoon may have been funny to some, may have made some feel good so they had a way to understand the deaths and the economic chaos unleashed by the virus. And what did it achieve?

We are woefully unprepared. We do not have a medical system which cares for us in a pandemic. The Taiwanese, the Singaporeans, the South Koreans did. They knew it was coming. They tested. They stocked up and they trained for it. We did not. We're a free country. The Italians and Iranians and Spanish and French and Americans did not prepare for this. We all knew it was coming. Now people are dying and will go on dying for the rest of the month and into the future. We are not prepared. Who is to blame for that?
