1. Blame China for the deaths of Americans from COVID-19.

2. Send aircraft carriers to the South China Sea.

3. Get CIA director to say that China is the biggest threat to America.

4. Get director of National Security to say China is acting illegally in the South China Sea.

5. Create an incident in the South China Sea so the American navy is fired upon and sailors are killed and/or have to retaliate.

6. Activate all American troops worldwide DEFCON 2.

7. Scare the shit out of everyone with the prospect of nuclear war.

8. Call on all Americans to rally to the flag.

9. At the final moment (October 2020) negotiate a cessation of hostilities with China and a resumption of trade negotiations.

10. Look calm, powerful and semi-dead like the statues in South Dakota.

11. Win the election by a landslide.
