It is a shame bordering on criminality that Fox News is allowed to get anywhere near the airwaves to influence mass swathes of a population too befuddled and ignorant to see clearly. When America desperately needs solidarity and truth, Fox dispenses neither but fishes out any Tom, Dick or Harry to come out of the woodwork to speak unsubstantiated versions of their truth. It's the Fox gloss. Like the President, Fox is never wrong. The network is killing people. Do they care? Not in the least. The only criterion is what are the viewing figures? How many people are watching? Can we drive it up a notch? Get some more viewers who don't understand where the pain is. Fox News is Trump's megaphone. Do its newscasters care about bodies lined up in refrigerators trucks? Why should they? They are mega rich, have their drivers, are doing the jobs they are asked to do and have safe houses to return to. Do they care about the poor? Only in as much they will use their deaths to apportion blame to others. Compassion is for suckers. It's only the poor and the old, the colored and prisoners. Who can be blamed? And behind it is Rupert Murdoch. Australia threw him out. The US welcomed him.
