The Editorial Board decided to give us both barrels. Peter Rex and Trump lover, Jim Jordon, fired off a multitude of generalizations from their rhetorical blunderbusses to pepper the ranks of the ungodly and socialist democrats. It was a magnificent show. Surely well meaning white parents facing the "enormous might of the federal government" have the right to defend their children's education in one of the lowest achieving education systems of the industrialized world? Parents know better than teachers. How dare the DOJ try to prevent the rights of parents to show "malice, violence and threats"? And Peter Rex proves beyond doubt that silicon valley is hostile to religion and is rife with disbelievers. We need more faith, more God in chips in the tech world. Perhaps Jim Jordan can get a law passed to ensure all tech workers say a prayer every morning. "Dear God, send your blessings over all computers and apps and allow them to spread as much misinformation to ensure our customers keep buying our products." Exciting stuff. I wonder what's lined up for the rest of the week? Surely this couldn't all be a distraction from Republican attempts to destroy our democracy? Of course not.
