Today being a Sunday, we had a double dose of conservative punditry. Goldberg tells us once again that the nasty socialists like Sanders and AOC have got it all wrong about Build Back Better, that if it passes, we will all be in the workhouse. Proof? Lots of other right wing pundits saying the same thing. Make the rich pay their fair share of taxes? Undemocratic! Unhealthy and leading to extreme demagoguery, a betrayal of the constitution itself.

Having been warned about the "red" peril at home, Lowry, rattling his saber for all his worth, warns us about the "yellow" peril armed with nasty supersonic missiles and calls on us to get into a new Cold War with China and prepare to deploy our own missile defense interceptors in Australia. (I hope this doesn't interfere with the delivery of latest Apple computers) Forget the policy of Mutually Assured Destruction. Let's just make sure that we are truly ready to destroy each other, at least within five minutes. Prepare the kids to get under their desks ASAP.
