IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY... (9/30)

I imagine Jonah Goldberg sitting at his computer thinking, "Now what criticisms can I level at Joe Biden? I know - he's loquacious, meandering, verbose, unaware, unable to police his own words, lives in a constant state of anxiety, long winded and misreads every situation." Goldberg then scurries to the internet and his files to find the corroborating evidence. And maybe he is right. Maybe Biden is all those things. What Biden isn't however, is a liar, a womanizer, a narcissist, obsessed with money, and his image, shallow, mean, nasty, vindictive, a man who requires constant flattery and toadying from his supporters and cheats at golf. He is not a man who enjoys inflicting pain on others or has never suffered himself. Biden, I believe, knows suffering and I think genuinely cares about people and and the United States. If I had to choose as I did last November, I'll go with that. My grandmother, if she were alive, would have told Goldberg, "If you've nothing nice to say.. shuddup!" Perhaps Goldberg could use his skills at character assassination to assess the contributions of McConnell, or DeSantis, or McCarthy or if desperate, Paul Gosar? No. Leave Paul Gosar to history.
