How dare Gov. Doug Ducey glibly say that he is proudly "pro-life" as he signed Senate Bill 1457? Has he given birth? Has he been through the experience of childbirth and been told that his baby suffers from Down's syndrome and will be born with severe disabilities which will impair any development? Does he know what it feels like when you desperately want the baby more than anything? Does he know what it is like to carry life inside you for nearly seven months and be told that there's something wrong with the child and that the chances of survival are slim?

Well, Gov. Ducey, you may not have gone through all that but I have. I still go through it. I still cry when I think about it and that was over 30 years ago. I had good doctors, got the best advice and made my decision. I live with that and sir, it's none of your business or anybody else's.
