ONE MAN'S VISION OF AMERICA (7/31)

Richard Lowry is stuck in his usual groove with his ad hominen attacks on Biden running out of adjectives. "Makes no impression," "poor TV ratings," "third place," "elevator music," "not the main event," "a caretaker," " low-intensity" complete with a picture of the back of Biden's balding, white head. Perhaps Biden could have upped his TV ratings with a dyed blondish, shellacked quiff and orange make-up! It's the policies that matter, not the personality. Battling the pandemic. Repairing infrastructure. Protecting voting rights, The economy, child care. Getting back to the fight against climate change. Getting out of foreign wars. Establishing good relationships with our democratic allies. Standing up to China and Russia and despots everywhere. Stopping cyber attacks. Tackling immigration at the source. Putting people who know what they are doing in positions of responsibility. Shoring up the Justice Department. Speaking the truth for God's sake! Americans are no longer hating each other but learning to love again and co-operate. Putting the America we love first. After five years of Trump, Lowry doubtless finds that strange. Not bad in my book for an old codger.
