The Duke of Edinburgh is dead. He is a dead Duke of Edinburgh. He has gone to meet his maker... or whoever thought up this whole business. Because of COVID a lot of other human beings have gone to meet their maker. The Duke was 99 years old. He had a hard life married to the Queen of England... he had to go around two steps behind her .. he was photographed alot... he had children... five of them... got dressed up in some fantastically well designed uniforms with medals and badges and stuff. He was a loyal consort. He didn't work in a factory, or an office or a supermarket. He was a sailor in the navy and learned to fly. He shook alot of hands, a tremendous lot of hands and supported charities and noble causes and was nice to colored people. He played polo well and drove a carriage in the Olympics. He belonged to the Danish-German House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. What more is there in life?
