WELL INFORMED AND NOT A BIT SCARED (5/28)

Doing my best to be well informed, I read a number of newspapers and watch numerous outlets. What's tediously obvious is that when people don't like something or somebody or a government policy or a group of people, it is always Karl Marx who is to blame. If it's not Marx, it's the communists or radical socialism or left wing extremism. The drumbeat goes on and on. Levin, Carlson, Hannity of Fox News add their horror filled diatribes along with pejorative descriptions of Sleepy Joe, our President. The theory is that if you repeat something often enough, it must be true. Personally I feel far more relaxed about the world with Sleepy Joe in charge than the madcap and unpredictable Trump. More to the point, I have actually read Karl Marx and some of it actually makes good sense. But people seem genuinely frighted of him. The reds are still under the bed in America and plotting an overthrow. Nobody seems frightened of the well armed fascist groups plotting to take over Congress, blow up Federal buildings, infiltrate the police and armed forces and planning terror and mayhem. Now that is really worth getting frightened about.
