Horror walks the streets of America. We saw it in Washington on Jan 6th and we see it over and over in the slaughter of innocents in the schools. It's in the hateful rhetoric of politicians like Gosar, Townsend and others. It's embedded in every donation sent to them by their supporters. It's the language of hatred and division amplified by social media given free rein to inspire people to kill and to hurt each other. It understands violence, blood letting and anger. These are its badges of honor. Our Attorney General wants to kill because it enhances his political prospects. The horror permeates the bills which try to suppress the truth about the past. Those who support it do not want the truth to be known let alone taught. It's in the abortion bills which suppress the rights of women to control their own bodies. They declare they do it to support life under a Governor who winked at 30,000 dead Arizonans and actively tried to thwart measures which might have saved lives. America's Covid death record is the highest in the world and Ducey washes his hands. Our streets are full of the homeless, "Not our fault!" is the Republican reply. "More guns is the answer." Welcome to the American horror show!
