It's not often I take Laurie Roberts to task but by exposing the stupidity of the latest "no mask mandate ever for us" by Arizona Republicans, she is unwittingly undermining the plot by American socialists to undermine the Republican Party. More Republicans than Democrats died from Covid during the pandemic because they didn't get vaccinated and didn't wear masks. The dastardly socialists want to keep all Republicans in this state of ignorance so that when the next deadly outbreak of a coronavirus variant or any other pandemic spreads, Republican stupidity will ensure that far many more of them will get sick and die, thus leaving sensible, rational people to get on with their lives. God forbid Kari Lake, et al., wake up and start being sensible. By remaining ignorant and stupid they ensure the survival of the fittest, i.e. those who can think and adapt. See it as Nature's way of clearing the decks. A bit like some cavemen whose response to the bow and arrow was "Stupid idea. It'll never work. I'm not using that."
