Phil Boas is right to describe the death toll during Covid 19 as a "butcher's bill." He blames alcoholism, loneliness, links the toll to falling educational standards and slumping public confidence in institutions. From his perspective Covid was responsible for the disaster. Nowhere does he write that the death rate in Arizona was twice that of Minnesota or that more people died of Covid in Arizona than died in the whole of Australia. Why was it so much worse in Arizona? Could any of the 29,850 who died in Arizona have been saved? A higher vaccination rate would have saved many. Earlier restrictions on movement, and mask mandates could have helped. Instead we let the silly people out to play, the same ones who are linking the bridge disaster to terrorism, Jewish people, or diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. Alex Jones wrote that the collision was "deliberate" and that "WW3 has already started." Taking Horse medicine, swallowing Clorox, refusing to wear masks were the silly people's solutions to the Covid crisis. Unfortunately they were never sent the "butcher's bill" nor feel in the least bit responsible. For them it's just "engagement farming," milking the cow or they're dead.
