Democrat Anger (3/18)

Jon Gabriel and Phil Boas invariably portray Democrats as angry. Gallego is an angry man. The Democratic party is angry with Kirsten Sinema. It makes for dramatic copy and establishes their bonafides as Republicans fighting for country and freedom from "socialist tyranny." After all if the other side is wrong, they have to be right. As an independent Democrat I like to think I vote for the right person not the right party. I supported Sinema. I thought she was a breath of fresh air. When she started taking big money from the pharmaceutical industry and spent $200k for private flights, the curtain was ripped aside. When I wrote to her about a problem with a pharma company wanting to charge my wife $12k per month for a cancer drug, silence. No response. Was I angry? Not with Kirsten Sinema. She had finally revealed her true colors. She is in politics for herself. I am cross with myself for not sussing her out more quickly not seeing that behind the smiles and the clothes and the concern for the military, there were other personal motives. Anger is self-destructive. I feel only sadness. Any politicians who habituate themselves to lies and lying provoke the same emotion.
