Ever since WW2 and the revelation of the horrors of the Nazi concentration camps where 7 million Jews were exterminated and ever since the establishment of the state of Israel, the Israeli government has relied on the antisemitic card to cover the atrocities which it has committed against Arabs, Palestinians, and anyone standing in the way. The death of one Israeli citizen has justified killing any number of others. According to them, Nazi brutality gives them the moral right. An eye for an eye becomes an eye for a hundred eyes and teeth. They had Palestinian women and children murdered by proxies in the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila. Israeli troops guarded the exits of the camp where the murders took place. Now Israelis are torturing and killing Palestinians from the West Bank. Their soldiers rummage through Palestinian women's underwear holding it up as trophies in Gaza. In whose name? Playing the anti-semitic card stokes the fires of anger and retribution. Year after year it continues. If only Israel knew how to make peace as competently as it makes war. Students supporting Palestinians must be antisemitic. So the cycle of hatred continues. What Israel wants?
