If I Had a Robot That Knew Everything

No secrets left? No doubts?
No waking in the night sweating?
No heaven? No hell?

But would my robot stretch her limbs,
Show me her magic parts
And have the recipe for crepes suzettes?
Is it possible?

Would I grow to love her?
But would she betray me?
Might her love dry up
And leave me
Standing in a corner of the universe
Sucking my thumb
Waiting for another
Big Bang?

I would love my robot
Because .. because
She is so dependable,
Knows everything,
All the stock market prices,
The causes of all diseases
And why my eyes
Tear up
At the thought of her.
