To Joe on his 40th Birthday

Though forty years can slip by fast
I'm not here now to count his past
But celebrate with all and sundry
He'll make sure no one goes home hungry.
I ask you all to raise a glass
To Joey, a man who has some class.
Actor, attorney and man of taste
So little of him's gone to waste.
Philanthropist and bon viveur
But more importantly Dear Sir
A kinder more compassionate man
You'll never find. The Chandler clan
And we his friends are triply blessed
He's son, brother, uncle plus the rest.
We're lucky all of us , let's not pretend
To have young Joey as our friend.

To another forty years
