Surely there wouldn't be a need to Make America Great Again if America were great? So what's the problem? Isn't it the same problem that Great Britain had? It used to be Great, ruled the waves etc., then it didn't. It declined. Then America was great. All that land, that oil, those resources, immigrants to take over the vast hinterland, the belief in itself and it proved in two world wars it was top nation. They beat Germany, Japan everybody and now it thinks it's still the greatest but like all great powers it's reached it's apogee and is now in decline. It's appointed an idiot king who rallies idiot sycophants to his cause. That's how it goes. cf Roman Empire. If the USA is not as great as it used to be who's going to take its place? Who makes all the stuff...like Britain and America used to? It's not Russia. They can't fight their way out of neo-colonial Czarist feudalism. It has to be a country which learns from the previous failed regimes, has a competitive educational system which promotes learning, has social discipline, has leaders who are more concerned with their country's prosperity than their own self grandeur and has a great past. Who on earth could that be?
